Hotel Review: Novotel Citygate Tung Chung, Hong Kong

If you’re planning on taking a quick trip to Hong Kong, I personally think that one of the best hotels that you can stay at would have to be Novotel Citygate, located at Tung Chung.

Hotel Review: ibis Central and Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

There are two ibis hotels in Hong Kong. One is located at North Point and the other is located at Central & Sheung Wan. Looking at various reviews, we opted to stay at the latter as though the North Point branch may be cheaper, the ibis in Central and Sheung Wan has rooms with a view overlooking the Victoria Harbour and for an affordable price too and that is what, more or less, sealed the deal for us.

Shangri-la Mactan

Having first opened its doors on the year 1993, Shangri-la Mactan continues to be one of the best resorts that you can stay in when you’re in Cebu. From your first step into their lobby, you will immediately be warmly greeted with sunny smiles from their accommodating staff.

Exploring Shangri-la Mactan

Covering 13 hectares, you won’t ever get bored when staying in Shangri-la. There’s all sorts of activities that caters to people of all ages. You can go to the beach, go jogging, swimming in one of their pools, and a whole lot more. That, and if you find a IG-worthy shot, fear not, because you can immediately share it on your feed; the resort’s fast internet connection can be found all throughout the property, even if you’re just lounging around the beach, or walking around the gardens.

A view of the beach.

I doubt that I would even be able to go here if not for the fact that during the Travel Expo last January held at SMX, my mom was able to buy bargain-priced dining vouchers that can be used in the restaurants (Corniche, Yurakuen Japanese Restuarant, Lobby Lounge, Sky Lounge Music Bar) located at Diamond Hotel as well as the Cake Club located at Power Plant, Rockwell.
