Madame Tussauds is a wax museum that has a lot of other branches in other parts of the world, although, the only other Madame Tussauds I’ve ever been to was the one they have in Hong Kong – but that was ages ago and I could barely remember our visit to be honest. Anyway, Madame Tussauds was included in our itinerary and it’s one of the attractions in London that we visited before we headed off to the airport and back home.
Fashion Week at Madame Tussauds. There’s also a makeshift runway in this part of the museum where you can have your photos taken. Anyway, a not so good photo of the wax figure of Kendall Jenner. 😀
Hunger Games’ Katniss Everdeen. Some of the wax figures really do look an awful lot like the real people they represent, but some of them.. Well, they’re not as good if you ask me.
There’s also a section where you can have your photos taken with the Royal Family.
Oscar Wilde – I’m such a big fan of his book ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’, which is one of my most fave books ever so yes, I did fangirl a little, haha.
Henry the VIII – in the flesh! Or at least as close I can get to seeing him in real life. I love watching movie/tv show adaptations, as well as reading books (both fiction and non-fiction) about him.
Princess Diana – I do remember that they also have a wax figure of Princess Diana at the Hong Kong establishment of Madame Tussauds.
Adele! Although if you ask me this figure doesn’t really resemble her that much.
One of their newest addition to Madame Tussauds London – Mr. Trump! Lol this is one of the few figures (aside from the Royal Family bit) that have people lining up to have their photos taken.
Sir Winston Churchill.
I do have a video clip of this, but aah, so cool because this figure actually ‘breaths’. Well, its stomach moves and mimics the action of breathing lol.
Just a sample of the wide selection of eyeballs – reminds me of BJDS (ball-jointed dolls).
The unpainted and unfinished figure.
Before and after. So cool!
Then we headed to the Spirit of London ride. It was very entertaining and possibly the best attraction inside Madame Tussauds!
Waiting for the doors to open for the 4D Marvel Superheroes show. Tsk, we didn’t know that you can actually skip this part!! :((
This is actually my 100th blog post, so yaaay! I’m looking forward to writing more posts on here, so hopefully you’re not all tired of me yet, haha! ❤
