Having gone to last year’s Art Fair, I’ve been looking forward to the one that’s going to be held this year. Personally, I liked the one last year better, but there are still a lot of eye-catching pieces that made this year’s art fair interesting. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around the Greenbelt area this weekend, as Art Fair is being held at the same venue as last year – at the Link Carpark.
As soon as you’re done paying the entrance fee (Adult: 250 pesos; Student with valid ID: 50 pesos; If you’re a student studying in Makati, your entrance fee is waived), there are already art exhibits present on this floor already.
Pretty much me every morning lol.
Pieces by Orlina.
The moon and other planets.
Really found this piece to be fascinating. Too bad the backdrop isn’t really that good, haha.
One of my fave pieces this year.
Another fave! Sort of reminds me of Cinderella for some reason – specifically her ~evil~ mother and stepsisters.
This has got to be one of the most interesting pieces there. The glass (not sure if it’s actually glass lol) moves around mimicking the flow of water.
Weird enough, I think it has a very calming and soothing effect.
I really like these pieces! *u*
Asking all the right (existential) questions lol.
Also really liked this painting.
‘Snow White Forever’.
Most, if not all, artworks were very detailed.
Again, one of my fave pieces from this year.
This sorta reminds me of an anime called Parasyte haha.
This has got to be my fave exhibit this year. It has such a carefree and laid-back vibe.
Anyway, this year’s Art Fair is from February 16 to 19 (tomorrow!), so again, if you have time, do come and swing by and I’m sure you won’t regret it.
It’s just odd though that they make you pay a small fee (20 pesos if I remember correctly) to have a copy of the map of the place. I mean.. Why?? Other than that, I have no complaints lol.
