Fort San Pedro

Before I get to the topic at hand, you might have noticed that I have changed my domain. I thought it’d be easier to change it as early as now and not wait around and doing so a couple of months later. Anyway, though the domain has changed, the content will still remain the same! ( ゚▽゚)/

During our recent Cebu trip, we went to Fort San Pedro. It was my first time to actually go inside, as usually we only really just pass this place by.

Facade of Fort San Pedro. It’s really such a pretty sight.

As you come in, you’ll see several photos/drawings hung on the walls. Anyway,, you have to pay a small fee of 30 pesos (for adults!) before you get to go in.

Such a cutie! (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚*

Old Spanish flag dating back well, hundreds of years ago.

I think this painting is of the quite famous blood compact between Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and Rajah Humabon of Cebu.

If you compare Fort San Pedro to Intramuros in Manila, which is another Spanish fort, Fort San Pedro is smaller. Like, you can go around the place in 10 minutes. Still, I think it’s a historical site worth going to if you haven’t been there yet.
